At the four-day event, held from March 10-13, many Vietnamese agricultural and food businesses introduced new, high-quality products, aiming to expand cooperation and export opportunities to the Japanese market.<\/p>\n

The Vietnamese pavilion at this year's fair covers an area of over 200 square meters, bringing together 26 food production and processing businesses.<\/p>\n

Businesses brought many of Vietnam's key agricultural products such as vegetables, processed and canned fruits, cashews, pepper, cinnamon, rice and rice products, dairy products, confectionery, spices, and many other agricultural products.<\/p>\n

Many booths also organized on-site product sampling activities, allowing visitors and partners to directly experience the taste of Vietnamese food.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the Vietnamese booth this year is the introduction of new products for the first time at Foodex, including the line of pure fresh pineapple juice in paper cartons from Dong Giao Export Food Joint Stock Company (Doveco), mushroom products from Da Lat Mushroom Village, and sea grapes from GCAP Vietnam\u2026<\/p>\n

Speaking with a VNA reporter in Japan, Mr. Trinh Van Duong, Business Director of Doveco, said that at Foodex 2026, Doveco introduced a line of pure fresh pineapple juice in Tetra Pak paper cartons, replacing the traditional metal cartons.<\/p>\n

The company has invested in two Tetra Pak production lines, enabling the production of high-quality canned goods and fruit juices in paper cartons, while also being more environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n

Mr. Trinh Van Duong added that Doveco has been exporting pure fresh pineapple juice in paper cartons to Japan since November 2025, with an initial output of over 2,000 tons.<\/p>\n

Notably, this product has been introduced into the Seven-Eleven supermarket system in Japan, demonstrating the positive market reception for processed agricultural products from Vietnam.<\/p>\n

According to the plan, in 2026, the export of canned fruit juice to Japan will account for approximately 10-15% of Doveco's revenue.<\/p>\n

According to Mr. Trinh Van Duong, Doveco's previous products entering the Japanese market were mainly IQF (quick-frozen) products. In recent years, the company has developed additional lines of canned goods and concentrated fruit juices, while also investing in new packaging technology to meet market demands.<\/p>\n

For established businesses like Doveco, which already have a foothold in the Japanese market, maintaining annual participation in Foodex is a way to affirm the stable and long-term growth of the company.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. Dinh Cao Khue, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doveco, a regular presence at Foodex not only helps the company maintain relationships with existing partners, but also strengthens Japanese customers' confidence in the company's reputation and capabilities.<\/p>\n

Besides processed products, fresh agricultural products and organic products from Vietnam also attract the attention of visitors.<\/p>\n

Dalat Mushroom Farm is bringing a variety of clean mushrooms to Foodex 2026. According to Mr. Akira Onishi, a representative of the business in Japan, Dalat mushrooms are of high quality and competitively priced, giving them an advantage over similar products on the market.<\/p>\n

Mr. Onishi stated that this is the second time Da Lat Mushroom Village has participated in Foodex in Japan. According to him, participating in the fair gives businesses the opportunity to meet and exchange directly with Japanese customers and international partners, thereby expanding opportunities for cooperation and export.<\/p>\n

The emergence of new, high-quality, and environmentally friendly products shows that Vietnamese agricultural products not only have a solid position in the Japanese market but are also continuing to expand their market share with product lines that suit modern consumer trends.<\/p>\n

Vietnamese businesses are increasingly focusing on added value, product quality, and sustainability to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the Japanese market \u2013 one of the most discerning markets in the world.<\/p>\n

Foodex Japan is one of the largest and oldest food and beverage trade fairs in Asia.<\/p>\n

Foodex Japan 2026 attracted approximately 3,000 businesses from 74 countries and territories, with nearly 4,000 exhibition booths. The event is considered an important platform for businesses in the food and beverage industry to find partners, connect with trade partners, and introduce new products to the Asian and global markets.<\/p>\n
