On the morning of March 10th, the FOODEX Japan 2026 International Food and Beverage Fair opened in Tokyo. This is a leading and prestigious trade fair in Asia for the food and beverage sector, attracting numerous businesses, importers, and major distribution networks globally. The participation of GCAP and other Vietnamese businesses added a highlight to the event.
With the theme “FOODS OF VIETNAM”, the Vietnamese pavilion, covering an area of 204 m², is located at E4-U24, East Hall 4, Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center. The exhibition space is designed with striking colors and features images of typical Vietnamese products, creating a unique impression at the fair. The pavilion brings together 26 businesses showcasing many strong products with export potential and competitiveness in the Japanese market, such as vegetables, processed and canned fruits, cashews, pepper, cinnamon, dipping sauces, rice, etc.
And more importantly, one of the highlights of the Vietnamese booth this year is the introduction of new products for the first time at Foodex, including sea grapes and seaweed products from GCAP VN, mushroom products from Da Lat Mushroom Village, etc.
At FOODEX Japan 2026, GCAP VN introduced its flagship and high-quality products, manufactured according to international HACCP and ISO 22000 standards, to the Japanese and global markets.
-
Fresh sea grapes and salted sea grapes (dehydrated sea grapes) – A flagship product with a closed-loop cultivation and processing system, rich in nutrients and delicious.
-
Grape seaweed powder – A convenient product, easy to apply in food and beverages, meeting the trend of green and sustainable consumption as well as the increasingly stringent standards of the Japanese market.
GCAP VN's booth attracted many importers, distributors, and F&B businesses interested in a stable, high-quality, and reputable supply from Vietnam. This shows that Vietnamese seaweed not only has a solid position in the Japanese market but is also continuing to expand its market share with seaweed product lines that suit modern consumer trends.

Participating in the exhibition gives GCAP the opportunity to meet and exchange directly with Japanese customers as well as international partners, thereby expanding cooperation and export opportunities, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese sea grapes in the global market.
According to the organizers, FOODEX Japan 2026 will feature businesses from 74 countries and territories, with 3,738 booths, and is expected to attract more than 72,000 visitors and trade transactions.
